The 2009 - 2010 Patriot Basketball Team is full of local faces. We are very excited to be able to have such quality student athletes in our community. This year's team is extremely young and has little experience, but they have worked very hard during the offseason to reach their goals. This year will be a rebuilding year for us; we lost all our returning players from last year's team with the exception of sophomore guard Pat Powell from Columbus, GA, Jacob Moody from Moulton, AL and Chris McCain from Huntsville, AL. We will be depending on these guys for leadership on and off the floor.

The challenge for us will be how quickly we come together and how we work. I'm excited to be a part of such a wonderful program and be able to coach such gifted young men. It's a blessing to me and my entire staff.
